Frequently Asked Questions

SIL is NDIS-funded support that helps you live as independently as possible, in a shared or individual home, with support workers assisting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning and personal care.

SDA is housing funded by the NDIS for people with disability who need specialist housing design, such as wheelchair accessible spaces, wider doorways or other accessibility features, to support their independence.

Eligibility depends on the funding and goals in your NDIS plan. We can help you review your plan against the NDIS criteria and complete the required Home and Living Supports request form.

We recommend starting the process at least 6–8 months before you would like to move, though timelines can vary depending on home availability and your NDIS plan.

Where possible, we match you with a home and housemates that suit your needs, culture and lifestyle.

Support varies by home and individual plan, and can include daily personal care, community nursing, life skills development, community participation and more.
